CLJPart2

After the whirlwind of activities in Part 1 of the ICA Culinary Learning Journey, Culinary Crafts‘s Mary Crafts-Homer didn’t stop there!  She packed in EVEN MORE awesome local food, artisans, and restaurants for everyone to enjoy!  We still enjoyed amazing lodging at The Grand America but we also will spend the last night at The Sky Lodge to finish out the trip; we’ve eaten at even more DELICIOUS local establishments such as Black Sheep Cafe, The Beer BarHigh West Distillery, and The Park City Culinary Institute; sampled tasty wares of more fine local culinary artisans like Amano Chocolate, Creminelli Sausage, Vida Tequila, One Sweet Slice, Real Salt, High West, Squatters Brewery, and Wasatch Brewery;  did Utah “musts” like a scenic drive through Provo Canyon, City Creek Shopping Center, Utah Olympic Park, the Alpine Slide, Zip Line, Main Street Park City, The Canyons‘s Autumn Farmer’s Market, a Cache Hunt, and Skeet Shooting at Red Cliff Ranch; AND toured Culinary Crafts‘s very own Tasting Room in downtown Salt Lake City complete with a three course, plated Autumn breakfast – and as if that weren’t enough, the ICA Culinary Learning Journey group were the very first guests to tour our BRAND SPANKIN’ NEW building in Pleasant Grove where we held demonstrations on making fresh mozzarella with Chef Marco, checked out the full service bakery showcasing a ‘bread pairing’ primer, and created our signature house-made gelato!  We also served up a Culinary Crafts favorite of a Utah BBQ lunch at the Utah Olympic Park AND a family style dinner at Red Cliff Ranch!  WHEW!  I don’t know how Mary does it, but it has been amazing!  Sadly, the last full day of the tour is today, but we have had SO much fun so far and are so thankful to have been able to show off Utah to all of these wonderful people!  Thank you to the ICA Culinary Learning Journey – It has been AMAZING!  Happy Thursday, everyone!
